Very sad to hear about the passing of STORM
one of the two geniuses  behind  HIPNOSIS.
along with "PO"

The first place I applied  to get a job when I arrived
in London was " HIPNOSIS" based in Denmark street at the time.
I turned up at their studio regularly , begging them to give me a job
but to no avail.
After one visit I took their front door sign saying.
HIPNOSIS
2nd FLOOR.

A few years ago I met up with STORM and told
him about the door sign
I  actually showed him the sign.
He said "AH! It was you! Call security!
He was very amused.

He will be greatly missed!

HARRY POTTER / BELLATRIX SKULL RING

First of all I must apologise to all CRAZY PIG bloggers
for not updating this page recently.
The simple reason is that we have been too busy
with many projects, .
But after much work they  all  coming to fruition very soon.

Here's a little something from our

We made quite a few pieces for many of the film characters.
Most notably the BIRD SKULL pendant
and TOUJOURS PUR SKULL RING
worn by BELLATRIX!

NOW ! FOR  SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

Some years ago I was working at my bench
in our Covent Garden workshop.
It was just a regular day, when a good friend
from New York popped in to say Hi!
I  ve known Pierre for many years.
We traded guitars and amps since the 80's.
Anyway , Pierre is looking at the iems on my bench
when he spots a knife that I had started
customising.
I had a plain black blade and had started to carve a
handle for it.
As it was just a piece I was "messing around" with
It was far from being finished.
Pierre said
" I know someone who would love this"
I knew who he meant of course!
I explain this was just a rough idea but I could
make a "proper" knife.
So I designed a blade and contacted Wilkinson swords
to make a custom  blade for me.

It took me about a year to carve the handle....
My idea was,,,
Life /Death
Man /Woman
Human/Animal
Plants/Flowers.
Eventually I collected the blade and box from Wilkinson swords
and spend a few more hours assembling the piece.

Approx knife length 40cm

                                                                      JOB DONE!

ALIEN FACE HUGGER RING

A you can see althought its a fairly large ring
it is extremely confortable to wear, like all our designs.

NEW ANIMAL RINGS DESIGNS /CAT ring and DOG ring

It s raining cat's & dogs!

Back by public demand are two of my old designs
that had been unavailable for many years.
THE BOXER RING and THE CAT RING

BOXER RING 24mm tall X 22.5mm wide

CAT RING 17mm tall X 15.5 mm wide
 

Despite being reknown for as a skull ring designer
over the years I have made many animal rings.
From Rhinos , Elephants, Tigers, Wolves,
Snakes, Lions, Dolphins, Sharks,Gorillas,Goats.
Frogs. Pigs and many many more,
These two designs appeared to have been favourites
and I thought it was high time to reintroduce them
to our expended range of ANIMAL RINGS.

Like all our designs these are the original first
generation pieces, made from the original masters and
recarved in 2013 to get maximum  detail.
As always everyone of the original pieces has
the ZIG ZAG signature inside the ring
as seen unerneath our skull logos hown here.

DUSK UNTIL DAWN / DUSK TIL DAWN

Here's a a Custom one off ring we just
completed for a friend..
There was
No budget imformation
No specific design just the phrase
DUSK TIL DAWN
and worse of all
only 2 weeks to make it!

But One will do anything for a good friend!

Based on graffitti style lettering we cut these out
of a solid piece of 18 carat yellow gold.
The ring itself is sterling silver with a rough texture
To add effect and contrast we coated the ring with black rhodium.
The DUSK TIL DAWN words are actually
curved underneath and soldered on each of the corner
to the ring itself.
So you can actually look underneath the words all the way round.
